First game back in the US of A

So I have not posted in a long while which was due to a brake from painting and playing fewer games. I recently moved back to the United States of America from  England as my tour at RAF Lakenheath was over. Now we are stationed in the bread basket of America, Missouri, at Whiteman AFB and still waiting for all our stuff to arrive. Fortunately their is a good game store just 10 min down the road though historical games dont seem to be big there but I can fix that.
The next few months are going to be busy as I get trained up at my new tower and my son is born in early Oct. This will result in fewer game time but I all ready have plans to build a moulder terrain table and start a Warhamer 40k army so I wont be quiting the hobby any time soon.

Speaking of gaming, while my very pregnant wife and I wait for all our belongings to arrive I happened to grab a tin of Pirates that had been at my parents house from nearly 10 years ago and decided to teach the wife how to play.
If you are not familiar with the game, made by WizKids, I recommend taking a look here and giving it a read.
Basically you would buy tin foil packs of stirean cards that would have punch out pieces to construct ships from the age of piracy. It was a constructible, collectible, tabletop game with very simple rules that was fun and easy to play.
Anyway we played two games in which I won the first and she won the second. She really seemed to enjoy it and wants to play again when my main collection arrives. She also feels like it will be a really good game to get my son into the hobby in a few years.
Fallowing are a couple of pictures from our games.

I hope to have a post next week with my new hobby room setup with posts to fallow of games and projects.
