Rough Ground

I once saw a forum post with pictures of several of these around a village as rough ground. I loved the idea and this is my first one with several more planned.

All the Static Grass and plants are from Huge Miniatures which is my go to baseing material company.

28mm mini from Copplestone Casting for scale

28mm Weapon Team from Warlord Games for scale.

20mm mini from Elhim Miniatures for scale.

Homosapien Characters

I also finished up some Homosapien Characters from Copplestone Casting. These will give more options and flavor for the games I'll run. Most might not have too much to do in Paleo Diet but I have several ideas for Fist Fulls of Lead.

Here is a group shot of the new characters.

This older gent will make an excellent Shaman or Witch Doctor.

This ancient (45) man will serve as tribe Elder

I'm considering the use of a bow as brand new "advanced" tech and so making him a character.

Finally a champion with decorative beads and feathers. Could also be a chief or leader of the tribe.

Neanderthals

Finished my batch of Neanderthals from Lucid Eye Publication's Savage Core range. Its a great range and I'll be painting up the Cro Magnons from them next and would love to get my hands on their Amazons.
I tried my best with these to give some variety to the animal skins they where wearing so it would get boring. Overall happy with the end result.

Here is the lot of  the Lucid Eye miniatures. The photo below them are Neanderthals from Zombiesmith Games. I plan to use both sets for an Ice Age campaign where the 2nd pic is who the Neanderthals would start but as they advance they would end up like the 1st pic.

Boss/Leader

Might have this guy as the 2nd in command since he has two weapons.

Here are the rest of the group.

At least 1 has something other then a Spear or Club.

Norman Crossbows

Finally decided to paint my Norman Crossbow men that I have been sitting on for 3+ years. I have no idea who makes them as I bought them as part of a large lot from another wargamer who had abandoned his Dark Age project. I am really happy with the end result and will use them with several different rules sets.

Prehistoric Animals

So I recently finished up the rest of my Prehistoric animals for use in Ice Age and Stone Age games. My to main rules sets will be 'Paleo Diet Eat or be Eaten' for hunting games and Fist Full of Lead core rules for tribe vs tribe.

Here are all my Carnivores. 3 Terror Birds, 1 Saber-tooth Tiger, 1 Cave Bear, and a pack of 5 wolves.

Here are all my Herbivores.  1 Woolly Mammoth, 1 Brontotherium, 2 Mastodons, 2 Woolly Rhinos, and a herd of 8 Pronghorns.

Here are closeups of the new additions.
