So our base's Historical Wargaming Club had our second meet today. I provided the games again and the main one was another Modern Bolt Action. This time it was set in Eastern Ukraine where Nationalist and Separatist forces battled it out.
The scenario: Local Nationalist forces have just gotten word that a Separatist tank which has been harassing their sector for weeks is broken down in a near by town but a Separatist engineer is working quickly to fix it. The Nationalist mission is to destroy or capture the tank before it is fixed and can flee the battlefield. The Separatist need to fix the tank and get it out of reach from the Nationalists. The tank is having engine problems and cant move and is out of rounds for it main gun. However the co-axle and top pental-mounted MMG/HMG are both working. The engineer bust be given an order die to perform a fix action, once 6 have been performed the tank is fixed.
Table setup before deployment. I'm really happy with how my terrain is filling up the table.
Here are a few random shots from the game:

Tracks and Roads
Finished 5 road sections that are without side walks, 4 rail sections, and a crossing. I think it will add nice character and playability to the battle scape.

20mm town layout
So this is just about all my finished 20mm Modern European terrain. With this I can layout a small residential section and smaller industrial section. I have 3 more house sections to build and several more industrial. Once done I should be able to set up a 6x4 table (one in pictures is 6x3) as all residential, all industrial, or all agricultural.
I also noticed after laying out the miniatures for the photos that I could use more to give proper sized squads for the rules I use so have ordered a bunch (shhh dont tell my wife).
As my collection grows so dose my concern for how to transport them. You may notice that all the build bases are the same size in at least 1 dimension. My thought is to build a box with adjustable shelfs or pegs that would allow me to stack them safely. I could also build on handles and/or wheels for transportation to and from games.

The parking lot is not finished and I want to add some dry-brushing to the railroad tracks. I'm also going to make some road sections without sidewalks for sections out of town.
Had to lay out an assault scene just for fun.

House number 2
Finished the base for another one of the houses I built a few years ago. This one has a wood fenced yard so I wanted to give it that old sun bleached, weathered look and I'm quite happy with the end result. I'm not crazy with how poorly the roof fits this one so a project for another day will be to replace it.
Once I get some HO scale plants I'll flush out the yards a bit more.
I did the ground cover a bit differently then last house. This time I did the entire base in the dirt then flocked over it. I feel it gives a bit more realistic look.
